Mr. Bennett is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 15 years of combined experience in public and private industry accounting and 10 years of management experience. As a manager at one of the top accounting firms, Deloitte & Touche, L.L.P., he served a diverse number of industries. His private industry experience includes serving several companies as a Chief Financial Officer, a senior manager in operations, and as a controller. Mr. Bennett has been instrumental in developing business plans, budgeting strategies, and fostering value-added relationships with strategic partners. Mr. Bennett possesses significant experience in high-tech and early stage companies.

Mr. Bennett spent two years as the controller of Access Long Distance, a privately held corporation. During his tenure at Access he restructured their accounting functions and played a significant role in a successful $100 million debt offering and the company’s subsequent sale to McLeodUSA.

After Access Long Distance was sold to McLeodUSA, Mr. Bennett joined McLeodUSA’s Operations Division and led a group that reduced cost of goods sold by 10% or $1.6 million per month, mainly through contract negotiations with larger carriers.

Mr. Bennett then spent two years as the CFO of packetPointe Technologies. As an early stage company, packetpointe Technologies raised funds from private debt and equity sources and venture capital groups. Mr. Bennett was significantly involved in negotiating a five-year product license with a Fortune 500 company.

After packetPointe Technologies, Mr. Bennett served for two years as the CFO of a closely-held medical device company. He assisted this company in securing debt financing and negotiating a world-wide distribution agreement for the company’s product.

He currently is serving as the Chief Financial officer for a privately held telecom company in Salt Lake City with sales in the tens of millions. His experience is invaluable in growing the Company’s many opportunities into a much larger and more successful enterprise.
